Montréal-Jonquière train (the Saguenay)

Why not follow-up your Montréal vacation with a spontaneous excursion to the beautiful natural surroundings of northern Québec? The Saguenay train runs from Montréal to Jonquière, a mid-sized city 500 kilometres farther north. The train also gives outdoor fans a chance to get off anywhere they want, (even where there is no scheduled stop), simply by requesting a special stop!

Note that the Saguenay and the Abitibi travel together between Montréal and Hervey Junction. The Abitibi then heads northwest to Senneterre, passing through La Tuque and Parent.

Please note that station locations on some Google maps may not be entirely accurate. We are currently verifying the exact locations of all our stations.

Class and services available

Comfort class (economy) is the only class available on this route. Follow the above link for a description of cars and services available, including baggage service.
