TO HEALTH INFORMATION
Definition
An individual's right of and ability to access any health and health care information, whether personal or pedagogic, that is required
or desired. The legal right of access to health information encompasses
an individual's claim to information in records under the control of an authoritative governmental or medical institution. The ability to access health information refers to an individuals' universal and equitable accessibility to electronic media regardless of the technologies he/she uses through the implementation and observance of guidelines and protocols, such as those recommended in the Canadian government's CLF standards or by the World Wide Consortium. The ability to access information also relates to and depends on the availability and distribution of authoritative, quality health information via the Internet or other electronic resources.

Information and Communications Technologies are computer hardware,
software and peripherals, the Internet and its applications like
