Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

Amendment 2007-2

The Canadian Aviation Regulations are a compilation of regulatory requirements designed to enhance safety and the competitiveness of the Canadian aviation industry. They correspond to the broad areas of aviation which Transport Canada, Civil Aviation is mandated to regulate (e.g. personnel licensing, airworthiness, commercial air services, etc.).

  • The Summary provides a list of the most current amendments.
  • As CAR 561 becomes effective on December 1, 2007, the web version of these amendments are now available on this site. An interim amendment summary providing the list of CARs subparts affected will serve until the publication of the complete 2007-2 CARs Amendment which will come into effect on December 30, 2007."
