CETC-Ottawa Business Development Office (BDO)

The Business Development Office seeks business, and brokers partnering opportunities in the field of energy technology research and development. Whether you represent Canadian industry, government, a university, an NGO, an association or are an international entity, we can:

• provide you with information about our programs and services;
• determine if one of our programs is a good fit to your situation;
• refer you to an expert(s) who could help you with designing a solution to meet your energy needs;
• facilitate the client in acquiring rights to use CETC-Ottawa- developed technology or participate in CETC-Ottawa-led research initiatives.

You might meet us at a conference or workshop. Please contact us in advance for those events where we plan to have a presence. We periodically conduct tours of our facility when time and conditions permit.

As part of our international climate interests, we manage the Clean Energy Portal, which houses a rich directory of Canadian technology providers. We also administer the Climate Change Trade Promotion Officer programs.

We are generally available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Eastern Standard Time.
