Between vending machines, donuts at meetings, and fast food days at school, who is hungry for a packed lunch from home?
Having healthy food choices on hand is one way to fight the temptation to make unhealthy choices. But temptation is everywhere and constant easy access to choices that are high in fat, sugar and calories makes healthy eating a challenge for even the most determined people.
If your school or workplace has the right policies in place, making healthy choices can be easy. Talk to the people in charge at school or work to find out what they're doing to make healthier food options more available than unhealthy ones.
