Privacy Policy

The CWB is concerned that the privacy and rights of its Web site users is respected. The Canadian Wheat Board only obtains information such as your name, phone number, e-mail or street address, if you supply it. We do not automatically gather any personal information during your visit to our Web site. When you send us e-mail, we will use your name and e-mail address only to respond to the concerns you directed to our attention. Your e-mail may be shared with appropriate people within the CWB to help us respond to your concerns and improve our Web site.

The CWB has restricted the use of cookies only to those situations where it enhances performance and /or functionality of the Web site. Our Web site does not use cookies to track how visitors use this Web site or to determine previously visited Web sites. CWB.ca uses cookies for our Web site poll in order to prevent a visitor from voting more than once. A cookie is used from time to time to inform users of Web site outages or upcoming CWB events. We also use cookies for our e-business section on our Web site. The use of cookies enables visitors using e-business to more easily communicate and interact with our site. For example, we will place a cookie on a visitor's computer when he/she visits the site.
