Consulting and Borrowing Material

Please note that original archival documents in the collection of Library and Archives Canada (LAC) must be consulted on-site. In many cases, copies on microfilm of archival documents may be borrowed through the inter-library and inter-institutional loans service. Please also note that much of the published collection of LAC can be borrowed through the inter-library and inter-institutional loans service. You may also order material in advance for future consultation at 395 Wellington Street. In order to take advantage of this LAC service, you must have a user number, which you can request online by filling out the User Card Registration Form.
