Q Where can I find out more information about the vermiculite that may contain asbestos that has been in the news lately?
A

Of concern is vermiculite ore mined at the Libby Mine in Montana, produced between the 1920's and 1990. It was sold as Zonolite®Attic Insulation and possibly other brands in Canada during that time. For more information go to Health Canada's web site at ttp://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/iyh-vsv/prod/insulation-isolant_e.html.
