Welcome to the new Standards Branch Web site!

Transport Canada Civil Aviation is entering a period of transition. Civil Aviation Branches are being restructured in preparation for the organizational changes that will position the Directorate to better deliver its programs in the new safety management environment.

The new “Civil Aviation Standards” Branch includes Divisions responsible for the development and revision of standards related to Maintenance & Manufacturing, Safety Management System, Aircraft Certification, Air Operators Certification & Flight Operations, Aerodromes & Air Navigation, Dangerous Goods, Occupational Health & Safety and Cabin Safety. It also includes Aviation Enforcement, Safety Promotion and Education for the aviation industry and Program Management within our Branch.

As we are gradually reviewing all of the Divisions’ web page, the links hereunder will bring you to the former Branches or Divisions web page.  These pages may still have references to the former Civil Aviation organisation.
