Meet the Scientists

Two scientists in a laboratoryFor Health Canada to respond swiftly to emerging issues and to take advantage of opportunities, good scientific knowledge is essential.

Because of the breadth of Health Canada's mandate, the department counts on the work of scientists in a wide range of fields, including the natural and life sciences, and social sciences.

These scientists perform research and development and related scientific activities the department requires to respond to ongoing and emerging issues.
