Baby Gates

Baby gates provide a sense of security for parents and caregivers when looking after babies and small children. When using a baby gate, there is little worry of a child falling down the stairs or getting into something not meant for them. Even with this safety measure in place it is still important to keep a close eye on children at all times.

Some baby gates manufactured before 1990 do not meet current safety Regulations and should not be used. These gates have wide V-shaped openings along the top or large diamond-shaped openings along the sides. A child can strangle if their head or neck becomes trapped in these openings.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when installing a baby gate.
