| | Phone: | 2089 | | | | | Biography: | Bill Carman is the Publisher/Senior Communications Advisor in the Communications Division of IDRC. He directs the Centre’s book-publishing program by advising researchers, authors, and program staff on publishing options and procedures, and by collaborating with publishing companies around the world on the copublication and distribution of IDRC-funded manuscripts. Bill also coordinates special Web/print publishing projects, in particular the In Focus collection of “IDRC knowledge pyramids.” He joined Centre in 1986, and previously worked for the National Research Council of Canada. |
