International Guide Draws on CHIN Experience
Rina Pantalony, Legal Counsel at the Department of Canadian Heritage and the guiding hand behind many publications in CHIN’s Intellectual Property Series, has written a new Guide on Managing Intellectual Property for Museums. Learn more about the publication, which was commissioned by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO),by listening to an interview with the author.
Rina will be presenting the publication at this week's international Documentation et conservation du patrimoine des arts médiatiques (DOCAM) Summit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. She will be joined by Richard Rinehart, who will present CHIN’s recently published Nailing Down Bits: Digital Art and Intellectual Property. Museums and the Web 2008
An annual international gathering, Museums and the Web has since 1997 allowed heritage experts and Web developers to share experiences, trends and best practices. In partnership with the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) and Canadian Culture Online (CCO), the next Museums and the Web will take place in Montreal from April 9 to 12, 2008.
