Discover ten remarkable women in Canadian history.

Goal: To reveal portraits of women who played an important role in Canadian history.

Instructions:

You will see various statements that describe the lives of ten important Canadian women. For each woman, you must choose the statement that best describes her life.

• Choose the level of difficulty in the top right-hand corner. At the Beginner level, you will chose from two statements. At the Expert level, you will chose from three.
• Click on the portrait of the woman you wish to reveal. Her name will appear immediately and a distorted version of her portrait will appear to its left.
• Choose the statement that best describes the female historical figure whose portrait you have chosen to reveal.
• With each correct answer, the portrait will become clearer, until it is completely revealed.
• Once you have revealed a portrait, you can read and print a short biography of the woman’s life. To learn more, you can also access the Parks Canada Web site.
• The game will end once you have revealed the portraits of the five women presented in the level you have chosen.
