The goal of the Pilot Decision Making (PDM) educational package
is to help pilots make better decisions by introducing them to the concepts, principles
and good practices of the decision-making process.
It is intended to raise your awareness of the factors that affect pilot
decision-making and is divided into 5 modules as follows:
Users can easily customize these materials to meet their particular needs.
This educational package can be purchased through the
Civil Aviation Communications Centre at 1-800-305-2059 (or, in the National Capital
Region, (613) 993-7284)).
These documents are also available in the following formats:
- Portable Document Format (PDF) and may be viewed using version 3.0 or higher of
the Adobe® Acrobat Reader. This reader may be downloaded free of charge by visiting
the Adobe® web
site.
- Microsoft Word Document format (DOC) and may be viewed using the Microsoft Word
