City of Windsor

Windsor has a growing university and colleges for all types of skills training.

Windsor also has schools for children and youth in two systems: a public system, with 76 elementary and secondary schools; and a separate (Roman Catholic) system with 51 elementary and secondary schools. Schools in both systems are free of charge.

Some Windsor schools also offer English as a Second Language classes. There are also special education programs for children with disabilities.

University, College, Pre-University and Technical Studies

  • University of Windsor
    Over 16,000 students in a wide range of post-graduate and graduate programs.

  • St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Over 60 skills training programs, including manufacturing, nursing, computer-aided design, business and travel. The Ford Centre for Excellence in Manufacturing delivers high quality training in the engineering and manufacturing technology industry.
