In 2006, Windsor became one of the first cities in Canada to join the UNESCO Coalition of Municipalities Against Racism and Discrimination. The City is committed to creating a welcoming city and school system. We are now building an internet portal for all immigrant and settlement services

These organizations provide all kinds of support to immigrants.

  Provides English classes, settlement help, programs for families and youth.

  Provides English classes, settlement help, job search, computer training, programs for youth, citizenship preparation.
• Women’s Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor
  Skills training, language instruction, housing help, daycare, credential evaluation, health and social services.
• YMCA of Windsor and Esssex County
  Language instruction, settlement services, employment services .
• South Asian Services for Women
  All settlement services for south Asian women.
• Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women
  Women’s programs, employment services, child minding, language instruction
