The Working Papers Series (WPS) is intended to promote Health Canada's (HC) policy research internally and externally. It will complement other activities of the Health Policy Communications Unit, such as the development of the Health Policy Research Bulletin, a speakers series and the ARAD web site. It will support ARAD's mission to strengthen and support evidence-based decision-making in HC. The WPS highlights HC's policy-relevant research activities, and is used to share high-quality research of interest to a broad number of policy analysts and decision-makers in HC and its partners in the external research community.

Target Audience

The primary audience is policy analysts and decision-makers in HC as well as Provincial and Territorial governments and major policy research organizations. The secondary audience is other Federal Departments, national and international organizations, think tanks and research centres.

Content

The working paper series will address a research or policy issue of importance to HC, preferably of interest to more than one branch. Efforts will be made to address issues that cross departments and levels of government.
