The artifacts shown in this case have been donated by Randy Bachman. As a member of The Guess Who, with Garry Peterson, Bob Ashley and Chad Allan, Bachman became a key figure in the development of the Canadian rock music scene in the 1960s. In the 1970s he helped form Brave Belt and, with musicians Garry Peterson, Bruce Lecker, Jim Kale and Burton Cummings, he formed Bachman-Turner Overdrive which became one of the world’s most accomplished rock bands of the decade.
