Svetlana Swinimer lives in a world of the heart and psyche, a world of brilliant colour. Born in Omsk, in the former Soviet Union, and shaped artistically in Moscow, Svetlana is influenced and inspired by the twelve years in Africa. There she blended with great success, the psyche, colours and rhythms of that continent.


Through her inner world, real and imagined, past and present, Svetlana brings gods, heroes and myths to life. Her art, comprising a wide range of themes, is in public and private collections around the world.
