From:  June 10, 1993
To:      June 5, 1994

This exhibit depicts Inuit life and culture as seen through the research of Diamond Jenness, Canada's foremost anthropologist and a former researcher with the National Museum of Canada. Included is his classic ethnographic work amongst the Copper Inuit as part of the Canadian Arctic Expedition (1913-1918), and archaeological studies defining the prehistoric Old Bering Sea and Alaskan Thule cultures in the Western Arctic, and Dorset culture in the Eastern Arctic.
