The 1992 Saidye Bronfman Award Recipient

The Saidye Bronfman Award was established in 1977 by the Bronfman family to honour Saidye Bronfman on her eightieth birthday. Offered annually, it aims to recognize, promote and inspire excellence in the crafts. This year the award was presented to ceramist Walter Dexter. Born in 1931 in Calgary, Alberta, he works from his studio in Metchosin, British Columbia, and is well known for his innovative work with raku techniques.
