This day at 3 p.m., the Right Honourable Louis LeBel, in his capacity as Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General, proceeded to the Chamber of the Senate, in the Parliament Buildings, and took his seat at the foot of the Throne. The Members of the Senate being assembled, the Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General was pleased to command the attendance of the House of Commons, and that House being present, the following Bills were assented to in Her Majesty's name by the Deputy of Her Excellency the Governor General:
