CBOT FULL-SIZED SILVER FUTURES CONTRACT SETS VOLUME RECORD

The Chicago Board of Trade announced that trading of its 5,000 oz. silver futures contract reached a new daily volume record on December 15, 2006, hitting 14,409 contracts.


CBOT Launches Clearing Services For Over-the-Counter Ethanol Swap Contracts

CBOT To Make DJ-AIG Commodity Index Contract Available For Wholesale Transactions
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that effective Monday, December 18, 2006, its Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index Excess Return (DJ-AIG ER) futures contract will be eligible for wholesale transactions. 12.14.06

The CBOT will host an Advanced Candles Trading Strategies Workshop on December 11-15, 2006 with Dan Gramza. The workshop will be held each day from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the CBOT.
