World Youth Assembly on Road Safety

23-24, 2007, Geneva, Switzerland
Youth delegates from more than 120 countries, including 8
from Canada, met in Geneva to discuss a declaration regarding the
improvement of road safety among youth.

Canadian Road Safety Youth Conference
June 6-8, 2007, Montreal, Quebec
The Canadian youth delegates from the World Youth Assembly
on Road Safety shared their experience in Geneva with 45 other young
Canadians. All participants at
the conference commited to taking specific actions to help promote the
objectives of the First United Nations Global Road Safety Week. This
conference was held in conjunction with the Canadian Multidisciplinary
Road Safety Conference.
