Project Management (AARDE) is the primary point of contact for applicants seeking information on the Type Certification of Canadian and Foreign Aeronautical Products.

Project managers from AARDE coordinate matrix certification teams made up of specialists from various technical areas during type certification and post-certification design change activities.

The National Aeronautical Product Approval Information System (NAPA) provides staff at Headquarters, the Regions and district offices with access to a national inventory of approved products and ensures that these products are designed, manufactured, maintained and operated in accordance with Transport Canada standards and policies.
