Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Sector Profile 2006

The Government of Canada, Hydrogen & Fuel Cells Canada, and PricewaterhouseCoopers have partnered to develop a comprehensive, up to date profile of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Sector. This 2006 Sector Profile provides important updates on industry revenues, research and development activities and employment that are urgently needed to accurately describe today's hydrogen and fuel cell sector. This publication will serve to keep policy makers and stakeholders informed, and provide a comparison against domestic benchmarks and international jurisdictions.

Canadian Fuel Cell Commercialization Roadmap

The Canadian Fuel Cell Commercialization Roadmap is an industry-led planning process supported by Industry Canada. Its objective is to accelerate full-scale commercialization by Canadian fuel cell companies. This Roadmap has been developed through the participation, input and assistance of many leaders in industry, government and academia. It represents a critical step in identifying the commercialization challenges, and in selecting the strategies and actions that will allow Canadian stakeholders to successfully meet these challenges. The Roadmap reinforces the need for collaboration among government, industry and academia if Canada is to retain its leading position and realize the many economic, social and environmental benefits that fuel cell technology can provide for the country.

Charting the Course: A Program Roadmap for Canada's Transition to a Hydrogen Economy

The Government of Canada's Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Committee has developed a comprehensive reference of federal departments and their program initiatives that are available to the Canadian hydrogen and fuel cell sector. This document will serve to guide industry in funding and support opportunities that are available across the innovation continuum, including basic research and development, market demonstration and commercialization.
