Transport Canada is pleased to announce the winning projects under the Transportation Planning and Modal Integration Initiatives Call for Proposals issued in February 2004 to advance modal integration and transportation planning in urban areas and along transportation corridors.  Transport Canada received a total of 58 proposals consisting of various initiatives that could take the form of academic research studies or applied transportation projects.  Each application was assessed separately during the summer.
