Welcome to the National Cancer Institute of Canada

Funded by the Canadian Cancer Society and The Terry Fox Foundation, the National Cancer Institute of Canada is the country's premier research organization dedicated to supporting outstanding cancer research and advancing cancer control. Last year, we provided $67 million to support excellent cancer research and related programs across the country.

 

 

January 15th to February 6th, 2007 - NCIC and CBCRA grant panel meetings. Please note: Applicants may submit to the NCIC certificates (e.g. biosafety, animal care, human ethics approvals) and letters of acceptance from scientific journals indicating that submitted manuscripts have been accepted for publication.  These are the only materials that will be accepted by the NCIC after the October 16th, 2006 deadline date and before the grant panel meetings

 

February 1, 2007 - Application deadline for NCIC Personnel Support Awards

 

March 7-9, 2007 NCIC Workshop: Pathways to Patients, Vancouver BC.

An NCIC hosted workshop to address the research gap in taking novel therapeutic agents into first in man studies.
