N/A = Not available
In 1998 – 2000, the sharp decrease in employment recorded under intercity bus operators is due to consolidated reporting coming from mergers and acquisitions, as some intercity carriers activities have been reported under carriers involved primarily in school bus operations.
Data for 1996 includes “Shuttle and Sightseeing Operators”.
Shuttle & sightseeing employment data included with charter operators prior to 1997.
2001 data not available due to the introduction of a new bus survey by Statistics Canada.
