  1. Air Canada and Alitalia had shared Canada-Italy routes on a seasonal basis with Alitalia operating during the summer and Air Canada during the winter. The two airlines will now operate their own routes separately on a year-round basis.
  2. Air Canada expects to return to the Toronto-Zurich and Vancouver-Taipei markets in the summer of 2003.
