There are three ways to participate in the Railway Safety Act
Review public consultation process. Choose one of the following
options to register.
- Make a
written submission only.
- Complete

Make a written submission
and present that submission at a public consultation meeting. - Complete

Observe a public consultation meeting without
making a presentation. - Complete

- The Advisory Panel will hold public consultations across Canada as set out in the calendar of public consultations.

The public consultations will be based on a series of presentations from stakeholders and interested persons. After each presentation, the Advisory Panel may, at its discretion, engage its presenter in questions and answers about that presentation. As well, all presenters are welcome to observe other presentations.

Public consultations will begin at 9:30 a.m. and presentations may continue throughout the day.
- Observers are also welcome to attend public consultation meetings, but must first register.
Closed
- Stakeholders and interested persons may make
submissions to present their views, comments or
proposals to the Advisory Panel. A
Consultation Guidance Document is available to assist in preparing submissions. Complete
- Presenters at a public consultation meeting must provide their submissions to the Advisory Panel at least
10 working days
before the date of the meeting at which they wish to present.
Complete
- There will be simultaneous interpretation at all public consultation meetings, and all of the meetings will be recorded (audio only).

The final date to make a written submission to the Advisory Panel is August 31, 2007.
