[Report] Government On-Line uses information and communications technology to provide Canadians enhanced access to improved, citizen-centred, integrated on-line services, in the official language of their choice, whenever and wherever they choose. GOL's goal is that by 2005 Canada will be known around the world as having the government most connected to its citizens.
[Overview] This paper describes the system through which individuals can obtain an electronic credential (epass) to enable them to have access to secure services online.
[Overview] The introduction of Government On-Line has led to increased attention to Public Key Infrastructure processes and technologies which enable federal departments and agencies to conduct secure electronic transactions with individuals and businesses.
