Changes to Info Source Publication Production Schedule

As previously mentioned at the past two ATIP Community meetings, the Info Source publication production schedule has been reviewed. In an effort to facilitate the ability of institutions to provide their input into the annual production cycle of Info Source, TBS has decided to change the current production schedule.

Starting in 2004, for the 2004/2005 production cycle of Info Source, TBS anticipates the following will be the new Info Source Publication Production Schedule:

1. Sources of Federal Government Information (Main Book) and Sources of Federal Employee Information (Employee Book)

• Call letter in February

•  Input due back by end of June 

2. Access to Information Act and Privacy Act Bulletin – Statistical Reports (no substantial changes)

• Call letter in March

• Input due back by end of May. 

3. Directory of Federal Government Enquiry Points

• Call letter in August

• Input due back by end of September 
  
  

4. Info Source Training

Due to these proposed changes, IPSPD will be offering a supplemental English Info Source Training Course during the afternoon of Tuesday, January 20th at the Ottawa Conference Centre. A supplemental French Info Source Training Course will be offered on Wednesday morning January 21st at L'Esplanade Laurier.
