Framework for the Management of Information

Treasury Board Secretariat has reorganized the Web site for the Framework for the Management of Information (FMI).  You will see a streamlined site structure and content, and new navigational tools such as an A-Z index.  Check out the updated site at http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/fmi-cgi.  In addition to updating the Web site structure, several new FMI guidelines are now available:

Managing Government Information Annual Forum 2005

The 3^rd annual Managing Government Information forum hosted by Verney Conference Management will take place March  7  – 10^th, 2005, at the Ottawa Congress Centre.  This year's program has four complementary themes: Strategy, Strategy, Strategy; Caught in the IM Act; The Wide World of Technology; and A Practical IM Potpourri.  New this year on March 7, is the "The Future is All Around Us" IM Community Assembly: A Forward Looking Discussion on the Business of IM in the Public Sector, hosted by The Council Of Federal Libraries (CFL).  For more information and to register, visit http://www.governmentevents.ca/mgi2005.html or call (613) 226-8317.
