Monday, October 15; Tuesday, October 16; and Wednesday, October 17
Information Management Strategies Division (IMSD) of the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) and Government Technology Exhibition and Conference (GTEC) are working together to present a series of Information Management (IM) sessions during the 15th annual GTEC Conference from October 15th - 17th.
This is an opportunity for the IM community to explore cutting-edge IM on an expansive scale, while conveying IM innovations and concerns to an extensive audience of all levels of government and industry.
The IM conference stream will focus on IM priorities and include sessions on the renewed Government of Canada Policy on Information Management, the culture of IM, and the future of content management in a collaborative sphere to name just a few.
Over the past few years, GTEC has been broadening its focus from being a purely information technology event to being an event that addresses the needs of the government as a whole, touching on service delivery through various technologies; IM; and overall enabling of government issues.
As members of the IM community and perhaps attendees of last year’s IM Conferences we invite you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to discover and expand your IM knowledge while participating in this event. Your registration will also include full access to GTEC’s conference Government 2.0: Exploring A New Age of Collaboration.
The GTEC conference will feature Ken Cochrane, Chief Information Officer of the Government of Canada, as the GTEC honourary chair, keynotes by Don Tapscott, Tom Jenkins, and special briefings by CIOB and PWGSC / ITSB, in addition to the information management stream.
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for further details on registration in the coming days.
