New ridematching system helps federal employees carpool

University of Ottawa and Transport Canada with Travelwise awards, recognizing

OTTAWA - May 19, 2006 marked the national launch of Safe Boating Awareness Wee
which seeks to promote a wide range of safe boating practices to an estimated
seven million recreational boaters across the country. Left, Serge St-Martin,

the event.

Representatives from the Ottawa Police and the Ontario Provincial Police stand
in front of the Office of Boating Safety promotions trailer to listen to some of
the people who will be travelling around the province speaking with members of
the public about the importance of staying safe by wearing a lifejacket, taking
a boating safety course, and not mixing alcohol with boating.
