• Strategic Highway Infrastructure Program (New)

• Strategic Highway Improvement Program

  This program, announced in December 1992 as part of the Strategic Capital Investment Initiative, was designed to strengthen Canada's national transportation and communication networks.

• Yellowhead Highway Improvement Program

  The objective of the program is to raise vehicle mass limits on a designated system of primary highways to a uniform Canadian standard in order to facilitate interprovincial movement of goods and people.
