LFCO 21-18

The aim of this order is to detail the governance, accountability framework, policy and procedures necessary to the full implementation of the Army Ethics Programme (AEP).

This order specifies the nature, requirements, and performance measurement inherent in the AEP and identifies tasks and responsibilities in support of the Army Ethics Plan. More specifically, it provides the following conceptual, developmental, recognition and reward, and implementation framework elements, which constitutes the CLS broad front strategy to Army ethics training within LFC.

Canada's Soldiers

Two studies were commissioned in 2004 to support the Army Campaign Plan strategic objective of "Shape Army Culture."

The first study, The Army Sociocultural Survey (CROP 3SC), was undertaken by Environics Canada. This study mapped the core values of soldiers against those of Canadian society and examined the predominant values of different groups within Canada's Army.

The second study, The Army Culture and Climate Survey, was undertaken by the Royal Military College of Canada. This latter study focused on dimensions of organizational climate (i.e., how soldiers feel about different aspects of their work and workplace).
