Welcome to Land and Sea
Original programming returns Jan 21st...:
Never Forgotten
It was a Christmas people in Hodge's Cove will never forget. The black Christmas of 1976.
That windy Christmas Eve, two men left Hodge's Cove to check their nets. Hedley Drover, the father of nine children...and Willis Thomas, just 21 years old.
On Christmas morning, their bodies were brought back home.
The latest Land and Sea episode will return as soon as possible.

The program that's showcased the culture and history of Newfoundland and Labrador for decades returns to CBC on Mondays, at a new time... 7pm, 6:30 in most of Labrador.
For more than forty years, Land and Sea has reflected the life and times of this province, in a sensitive and often heart-felt way. Through a steady stream of shows portraying people from the north coast of Labrador to the most southern edges of the island, a way of life has been documented, and preserved.
Land and Sea. Newfoundland and Labrador's own.
