Qees, by Japan’s Toy2r, takes the idea of do-it-yourself toy one step further. In addition to getting a group of international artists to repaint its assortment of bears, cats, dogs and monkeys, the company has introduced a series of blank toys for collectors to colour. Buyers can even send in their personally designed toy art to Toy2r for inclusion in an international touring show of homemade Qees.
