Canadian director Jason Reitman's Juno has won three Satellite Awards. The Satellites are handed out annually by the International Press Academy, which represents entertainment journalists.

Juno was named best comedy or musical, its star Ellen Page won best actress in a comedy and its writer Diablo Cody took the award for best script.
Juno is a quirky comedy about a high school student who gets pregnant and decides to put her baby up for adoption.
The Satellite Awards, given annually for the past 11 years, tend to recognize more independent and international films than the traditional Hollywood awards.
However, mainstream favourite No Country for Old Men, the Coen brothers' story of what happens when a Texan accidentally finds a cache of drug money, was named best drama at the awards ceremony Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Joel and Ethan Coen won the best director Satellite Award.
Viggo Mortensen played a Russian mobster in David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises.

Canadian David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises was recognized with a best actor win for Viggo Mortensen in his turn as a Russian mobster.
The best actor in a comedy prize went to London, Ont.'s Ryan Gosling for Lars and the Real Girl.
Marion Cotillard won the best dramatic actress award in La Vie En Rose.
Christopher Hampton won adapted screenplay Satellite award for his script for Atonement.
In the TV categories, the award for best drama went to Showtime's Dexter and the show also earned best actor for Michael C. Hall.
ABC's new comedy Pushing Daisies took the best comedy series award.
