The Flight Test Report form provides Transport Canada with a Flight Test Record for all flight instructors
and examiners. This information is an extremely valuable tool used to monitor flight tests for trends in
assessment, weak areas, and evaluation errors. Added emphasis can be given to national weak areas at
standardization workshops and Flight Instructor Refresher Courses.
Explanation and use of the Flight Test Record form will be covered in detail during initial and
recurrent examiner training.
