All practice stall recoveries will be completed no lower than the height recommended by the manufacturer
or 2,000 feet AGL, whichever is the higher. You must be aware of the manufacturer's recommendation for
the type of aeroplane being used for the flight test.
Particular attention should be paid to the sequence used for the retraction of the landing gear and flaps,
if specified in the POH/AFM.
Ex. 8A requires the candidate to enter an actual stall in a clean configuration and then promptly
and smoothly recover using control application in the proper sequence as well as appropriate attitude and
directional control. Where the POH/AFM states that intentional stalls should be avoided or are prohibited,
the candidate is expected to recover at the first indication of an imminent stall.
Ex. 8B requires the candidate to approach a stall in the full flap landing configuration and then
promptly and smoothly recover at the first indication of an imminent stall, using control application in the
proper sequence and appropriate attitude and directional control.
