New Substances Notification Reporting Form

The New Substances Notification Form serves as an aid for complying with the New Substances Notification Regulations (Organisms) and for completing the New Substances Notification dossiers prior to their submission to Environment Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Please note that, although you are being supplied with an electronic version of these forms for your convenience, only hard copies of the forms with an original signature, provided in duplicate as per subsection 8(2) of NSNR (Organisms), will be accepted at this time.

Notifiers of new aquatic living organisms are also encouraged to advise the Office of Aquatic Biotechnology, DFO, that a regulatory submission in respect of an aquatic organism has been made to the Minister of the Environment.
