In order to respond to your enquiry, Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC) will need to collect a limited amount of information (such as your e-mail address) as identified in the fields below. However, this "Contact Us" service is intended for general enquiries only.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in the message box, such as your Social Insurance Number, personal finances, medical or work history. Due to the unprotected nature of the Internet, enquiries containing this type of information cannot be answered through this service, and are best addressed in person, over the telephone or by ground mail.
The collection and use of personal information for this "Contact Us" service are authorized by various Acts and Regulations governing HRSDC. Collection and use of personal information by HRSDC is done in accordance with the Privacy Act, which states that you have a right to access your personal information, and a right to request changes to incorrect information.
A record of all of the types of personal information held by HRSDC and their uses is published annually in Info Source, available online and in libraries nation-wide.
