Industry Canada is the lead federal department
for emergency telecommunications policies and
programs in Canada. It is administered
nationally by the Emergency
Telecommunications Section within the radio
spectrum management program.
The Quebec Region of Industry Canada is one of
five regions in Canada. The organization and legal responsibilities of the
Emergency Telecommunications Section within
Industry Canada at the national level provide
the basis for direction to the regions.
