Emergency Telecommunications
Welcome to the Atlantic Region Website!
Industry Canada is the lead federal department for
emergency telecommunications policies and programs in
Canada. It is administered nationally by the Emergency
Telecommunications Branch within the radio
spectrum management program.
The Atlantic Region of Industry Canada is one of five
regions in Canada. It includes the Provinces of New
Brunswick, Newfoundland Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince
Edward Island. The organization and legal
responsibilities of the Emergency
Telecommunications Branch within Industry Canada at
the national level provide the basis for direction to
the regions.
