Information Rights Week in Canada, April 7 - 13, 2002
Canadian Library Association (CLA) President Margaret Law is pleased to declare April 7 to 13, 2002 as Information Rights Week in Canada. The theme, Canada@Your Library, focuses on the importance of Canadian federal publications and information in creating an open society in Canada and celebrates the 75th anniversary of the federal government's Depository Services Programme (DSP).

IM References and Resources: Access and Accessibility
This page of the IMRC Web site has been expanded to include a new section on Accessibility and Alternative Formats. The page is now organized as follows:

  • Access to Information includes information identifying the responsibilities of public servants in relation to the Access to Information Act.
  • Accessibility and Alternative Formats contains information on improving access to information for all Canadian citizens. It includes links detailing ways to reduce barriers to accessing print and online information currently experienced by the disabled.
