The Aviation Safety Letter
(ASL) is published quarterly by Transport Canada, Civil Aviation.
It is distributed to all holders of a valid Canadian pilot licence or permit, and to all holders of a

aviation managers, and much more. It now includes topics that were previously addressed in the Aviation
Safety Maintainer, the Aviation Safety Vortex and the Aviation Safety Ultralight and
Balloon newsletters.
